A Space for You
If you work in healing, coaching and guiding transformation, you may relate to my question above?
I started the SpeakEasy as a membership for women in midlife. My usual clients!
But the founding members were all coaches working in the transformation space and so the SpeakEasy evolved and became a space where we did our own transformation work and became community and eventually collaborators.
Now I'm opening up the circle further and there are five spaces.
What Happens Here
Every fortnight, a small group of women who work in healing, coaching, and transformation gather on Zoom around an old story.

It might be a myth, a fairy tale, a folktale, an archetype that has been holding humanity for longer than anyone can remember. We look at it together. We turn it over. We ask what it has to say about the work we carry, the practices we’re building, and the lives we’re living. And somehow, every time, it says something we didn’t know we needed to hear.

The SpeakEasy is for women who spend their days offering perspective to others. Who ask the deep questions, hold the difficult spaces, and see things in their clients that their clients cannot yet see in themselves. Women who are extraordinary at giving — and who rarely, if ever, get to just receive.

Members say it’s the one time in the fortnight where their shoulders drop. Where they exhale. Where they don’t have to be the one who knows — they can just listen, and be, and be surprised.

That’s the magic. Not me. The circle. Everyone in the room brings something, and what emerges between us is always more than any one person could have found alone.

If you’ve been exploring the deeper currents beneath your work — the mythic, the symbolic — you’re going to feel at home here.
Why It Matters
Life change rarely happens alone. Here, you’ll:

-
Step out of old patterns and expectations
-
Connect with women walking similar paths
-
Experiment with creative and reflective practices
-
Share insight, laughter, and honest reflection in a small, intimate group
Who I Am and why this works
I’m Gillian Wray. I am a poet and storyteller.

I see everything through the lens of story. I create characters and story that help me understand myself, others and the world we live in.
Which can be pretty uncertain at times!
I celebrate this uncertainty on a Tuesday and panic about it on Thursday. I'm also an absolute wuss that gets scared of showing up online and in public sometimes. So basically I am a normal human. And you are too and that's why this works.
